No Hands
A passion for ballsy, nihilistic rock and roll fires this resilient, rotating stew of dogged Oil-town veterans. With two EP’s in the hand and a dewy album ripening in the bush, No Hands still sound off with the raucous pandemonium they've been forging since 2003. With label mates James Stewart (the Last Deal) and Tim Rechner (Champion, Alberta) on deck as fresh brahs, the band is currently recording a full-length album tentatively titled “Enron Hubbard”.
No Hands have moved away from the bleak, programmed machinations
of 2005’s “Roughing it in the Bush” EP and have added a snatch
of twang to their fevered pitch. The current line-up invokes the earthy
grit of Gun Club, the Constantines, Captain Beefheart, Bob Dylan and
the Replacements. No Hands are rock sans bullshit... with a smidgen
of bullshit for kicks.
The new album is due summer 2007.
